Automated Rostering with Classlink

Automated Rostering with Classlink

  1. The District should be shared as the primary org
  2. Share all students, teachers, and classes
  3. We need PA Secure ID for the students shared as a User metadata field named PASECUREID
  4. Students' DOB should be shared via Demographics
  5. Counselors should be shared as administrators if they do not have classes assigned to them and are shared as Teachers
  6. Each person should only have one type of account (Teacher or Staff, not both)

Students:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth  (mm/dd/yyyy) - shared via Demographics
  • Graduation_Year (four digit)
  • ZipCode (for student or school, 5 digit)
  • PASecureID (required for all school districts and charters) - shared as a User metadata field title PASECUREID
  • Org they're associated with
  • Class they're associated with
Teachers:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Org they're associated with
  • Class they're associated with
Any non-Teachers staff who also need an account (Counselors, Building Administration, etc.) can be shared as Teachers or Admin with the same info as stated above for Teachers.

We are not able to provide instruction on how to do this, but Classlink Support should be able to guide you on that part.
